(Special) Assistance

We will be more than happy to help you if you need special assistance for those with reduced mobility. Please follow the steps below to benefit from Luxembourg Airport’s assistance:

Submit a request for assistance to your airline, tour operator or travel agent at least 72 hours before your departure. The airline will then inform Luxembourg Airport.

On arrival at the airport, report to your dedicated airline’s check-in counter.

We currently offer the following assistance:

  • Wheelchair assistance to/from aircraft
  • Wheelchair assistance to get on/off the plane
  • Wheelchair assistance to the aircraft seat

If you come with your own wheelchair please provide details to your airline to ensure the wheelchair is compatible and will fit in the hold. Information to report includes the make, model, weight, dimensions, type of wheelchair (folding/non-folding, electric/manual). If you have an electric wheelchair, please also provide the type of battery.

Passengers’ personal wheelchairs are carried free of charge and in addition to the baggage allowance. Due to space requirements, wheelchairs are carried in the hold.


Many facilities are available inside and outside the terminal in order to make your journey through the airport as easy as possible:

Lifts, wide automatic entrance doors, spacious panoramic elevators leading to all levels, toilets for persons with reduced mobility

Reserved parking for passengers with reduced mobility is located:

Level -1 in the underground carpark A,B – 40 parking spaces

Car Park C (meet & greet) – 12 parking spaces

Please Note: Parking in these spaces is only allowed when using a blue badge card.
