The below section refers to all liquids, aerosols and gel, both cosmetic and consumable. For example, toothpaste, lotions, contents of pressurised containers, perfumes, shaving foam, drinks, syrups and any other item of similar consistency.

All LAGs in containers holding 100ml or less can be taken in hand luggage

All LAGs must be removed from your hand luggage and placed in a transparent, re-sealable one litre plastic bag. The bag must fit all the items comfortably and must be completely closed. At the security area, place the plastic bag in the tray with the rest of your items.

Please note that any LAGs in containers over 100ml will not be permitted through security, we ask you to kindly place these items in your checked-in luggage instead.

LAGs from the Airport’s Duty Free

LAGs that are purchased at the airport’s duty free will be packaged in an official sealed security bag. Provided that these items aren’t removed from the bag and the bag remains sealed, they can be taken through security with the presentation of valid proof of purchase. Please note that it may be necessary to remove the item from the sealed bag during screening.

Liquid Medicines and Baby Food

LAGs that are required for medical or special dietary reasons, including baby food, are permitted in your hand luggage without any obligation to present a medical certification. However, this is subject to specific security controls so please make sure you have valid documentation to avoid these items being refused.

Laptops and Other Electrical Items

Before the screening process all laptops, cables and other large electronics need to be removed from your hand luggage and any bags, such as laptop bags, that they may be contained within. These will then be screened separately to your hang luggage.
