As part of the ongoing development of Luxembourg Airport and its continuous improvement of passenger services and infrastructure, lux-Airport is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Lorenzo di Loreto as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Mr. Serge Streitz as our new Chief Real Estate and Infrastructure Officer (CREIO).
Mr. Lorenzo Di Loreto joined lux-Airport as Chief Operating Officer in January 2026.
Prior to this role, he served as Managing Director at Munich Airport International, where he led the transformation of the business into a global multi-airport operator and oversaw concession, management, and consulting projects worldwide.
His career includes corporate development and operations roles with Vision Invest, Samsung C&T, Airbus, Royal Air Maroc, and Air France. He holds an Aerospace MBA from Toulouse Business School, along with postgraduate degrees in marketing and business administration.
“I am delighted to join the organization and work alongside such a strong team. Together with our partners and stakeholders, my focus will be on delivering safe, compliant, and high-performing airport operations that support the wider aviation ecosystem.” says Mr. Di Loreto.
Mr. Serge Streitz joined lux-Airport as Chief Real Estate and Infrastructure Officer in September 2025. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen. He began his career at Paul Wurth, before joining lux-Airport as Technical Manager, where he was involved in the airport’s early development.
Afterwards, he spent several years as Chief Technical Officer at a company specialized in energy contracting solutions for urban heating and cooling and later as Director of the tertiary department and member of the management committee for a company specialized in large scale electrical installations for buildings and industry.
In September 2025, he returned to lux-Airport as Technical Director (Chief Real Estate and Infrastructure Officer – CREIO). His responsibilities include overseeing infrastructure, real estate development, and technical investments to support the airport’s continued growth.
“I am very glad to have been part of the first phase of the airport’s development, with the construction of Terminals A and B and the underground car park, and to be able to participate once again in the airport’s future development.” says Mr. Streitz.
lux-Airport would like to wish both a warm welcome.
