We are pleased to announce the next step forward in the airport parking experience. With the introduction of license plate recognition technology, parking has never been easier. For those who pre-booked, the process is seamless, the barrier simply opens upon entry and exit without the need to press a button. This is all possible due to the Scheidt & Bachmann plate recognition system.
For those using the Kiss & Fly parking lot, after paying and validating their parking ticket, the customer can exit without interruption, no need to insert the ticket at the exit barrier. The barriers open automatically based on the license plate recognition, allowing for a smooth exit.
Clients can also now simply pay at the exit payment-terminal. Upon payment with a credit or debit card, the barrier opens, and the customer can continue their journey.
Finally, this improvement in the parking experience goes hand-in-hand with lux-Airport’s developments to be net-zero by 2030. As this system will substantially reduce paper waste, lux-Airport is certainly taking steps towards improving our suitability to the fullest extent.
