His Royal Highness, the Grand Duke, visited the COVID-19 test station at Luxembourg airport
Posted on
His Royal Highness, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, visited today together with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, the COVID-19 testing station at Luxembourg airport. The delegation was given a presentation of the preventive measures at the airport by René Steinhaus, CEO lux-Airport, and was introduced to the procedure of the test station at the airport. The Grand Duke took a test himself and therefore encouraged citizens and travelers to be tested and respect the health measures in force.
We are honored and pleased about the visit and believe in travelers’ encouragement to do tests and respect the preventive measures.
The COVID-19 test station at Luxembourg airport was one of the first airport test stations in Europe. It opened directly with the first scheduled flights on May 29th.
Upon arrival, passengers receive a test voucher that can be used at the airport test station or in one of the indicated laboratories. The test is non-obligatory and free of charge.
