Luxembourg, 25 October 2024 – At today’s meeting of the lux-Airport Board of Directors, Gilio Fonck was unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Gilio Fonck has been First Government Advisor at the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works since September 2024, where he is responsible for the Directorate-General for General Affairs, Air Transport, Strategy and Innovation.
Gilio Fonck succeeds FĂ©licie Weycker, who is stepping down from the Board of Directors at her own request to take on new challenges. FĂ©licie Weycker has been a member of lux-Airport’s Board of Directors since 2012 and has also chaired it as Chairwoman since 2023. lux-Airport would like to thank FĂ©licie Weycker for 12 years of extremely constructive, intensive and trustful collaboration.
