Luxair reached a major milestone in its history with the arrival of its first Embraer E195-E2 in Luxembourg. The aircraft had landed on Saturday at 14.00 CET at Luxembourg Airport, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for Luxair as it began an ambitious fleet renewal programme designed to secure the national airline’s long-term growth, efficiency, and sustainability.

The aircraft was officially welcomed during an event held at the Luxair Maintenance Hangar, in the presence of Mrs Yuriko Backes, Minister of Mobility and Public Works, along with other distinguished representatives of Luxembourg’s institutions and aviation community. Upon arrival, the E195-E2 received a traditional water salute, jointly organised by lux-Airport and CGDIS, symbolising the start of this new chapter for the airline.
