Temporary Runway Closure Following Aircraft Incident on 21 June 2026

Today, at 16:44, a technical incident involving a small aircraft resulted in the aircraft becoming
immobilized on the runway, necessitating a temporary closure of runway operations.

The runway was closed for approximately 30 minutes. Shortly thereafter, at 17:18, reduced
runway operations were possible.

Passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft, and no issues affecting passengers were
reported following the evacuation.

Throughout the incident, all relevant stakeholders worked closely together on site to resolve
the situation and restore normal operations as quickly and safely as possible.

The airport returned to normal operations at 19:39 after the aircraft was cleared from the
runway and all necessary cleaning and safety inspections were completed to ensure safe
operations.

We apologise for any inconvenience this incident may have caused to passengers and airport
users.

We would like to thank all stakeholders involved, particularly ANA (Administration de la
navigation aérienne) and CGDIS, for their prompt response, and effective cooperation, which
enabled a rapid and safe resolution of the situation.
