Luxembourg, 19 September 2026 – Flight operations at Luxembourg Airport (ELLX) are suspended since Friday, 18 September 2026 evening following the detection of unauthorized unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the vicinity of and subsequently over the aerodrome.
The suspension of flight operations is implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers, airline crews, airport personnel and aircraft.
Luxembourg Airport continues to monitor the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities, air traffic services, airlines and operational partners.
Passengers are advised to check the latest status of their flight directly with their airline before travelling to the airport.
