Hedge Cutting
Please note that hedge cutting at Luxembourg Airport will only be performed again from 01.10.
Due to regulations protecting nature, hedge cutting is prohibited from 01.03. to 30.09.
June 2025 – Plane Spotter Special: Spotlight on Our Spotters!
On June 5th, 2025, we had the pleasure of celebrating one year of the Plane Spotters Afterwork Club with a special edition event held at the Skypark Business Center (copper building besides the Luxembourg Airport Terminal).
The evening brought together more than 100 aviation enthusiasts for a lively and inspiring gathering. A key highlight of the night was the series of presentations by 12 dedicated plane spotters, who shared the fascinating stories behind their photographs and offered a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into their passion. Looking Back: 2024 Highlights from the Plane Spotter Afterwork Club
2024 was an incredible year celebrating the passion of our spotter community at Luxembourg Airport! To strengthen our connections and share our enthusiasm, we launched the monthly Spotter Afterwork, held every first Thursday of the month – a perfect opportunity for enthusiasts to meet, connect, and engage.
A major highlight of 2024 was the Spotter Awareness Training, topped off with the special accredited spotter ceremony in December.

Highlights from the First Spotter Community Afterwork
On Thursday, 6 June, lux-Airport hosted its first spotter community event, bringing together around 20 enthusiastic aircraft spotters. Held at the Oberweis restaurant, which boasts a magnificent view of the apron, the gathering provided a unique opportunity for spotters to exchange their passion for aviation and exchange with the airport management. The convivial atmosphere, coupled with the stunning backdrop of the airport’s bustling apron, made the evening a memorable experience for all attendees, marking the beginning of a cherished tradition for the Luxembourg spotter community.
