The European Commission has set 12 October 2025 as the start date for the Entry/Exit System (EES) at the EU’s external borders. The rollout will take place progressively until 9 April 2026 in several phases. In Luxembourg, the system will be implemented at Luxembourg Airport, the country’s only non-Schengen border point.
