We at lux-Airport are proud of the vibrant community of aviation enthusiasts that has grown around our Plane Spotter Afterwork Club. Your passion, dedication, and talent bring the spirit of flight to life — and we want to celebrate that!

This summer, we’re launching the 2025 Plane Spotter Photo Contest, inviting all spotters to showcase their best moments captured at or around Luxembourg Airport.

We can’t wait to see your perspective on the skies.

What We’re Looking For?

From powerful takeoffs and graceful landings to twilight taxiways and rare aircraft moments — we’re looking for photos that reflect your unique view of aviation. Creativity, timing, and atmosphere are key.

Who Can Participate?

Everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned member of the Afterwork Club or a new face with a sharp eye — we welcome all plane spotters to join.

What’s in it for you?

Selected photos will be featured across lux-Airport’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), giving you exposure and recognition within the broader aviation community.

You’ll be fully credited whenever your photo is published.

Prizes & Awards

The prize competition is meant for participants who will reach the terminal Expo.

At the end of the competition, the top five contestants will be awarded of the following prizes:

🥇 1^st Place – €500 voucher for a photography store in Luxembourg (e.g., Foto Trade) or alternatively a flight voucher – winner’s choice

🥈 2nd Place – €300 voucher for a photography store or a flight voucher

🥉 3rd Place – €200 voucher for a photography store or a flight voucher

4th Place – lux-Airport suitcase

5th Place – lux-Airport GOT BAG

Top 10 finalists may receive additional visibility, gifts, or participation certificates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you may submit edited images, provided that they have not been altered using artificial intelligence or AI-based tools.

Each participant is permitted to submit only one photograph for the duration of the contest.

The winners will be selected by the lux-Airport community through a voting process conducted on our official Instagram account.
