Airport Lounges
There are 3 different lounges at Luxemburg Airport. These are accessible to passengers travelling in Business class. The lounges are located after security control, in terminals A and B. For more information, click here.

Check-in
Passengers departing from Luxemburg in the morning between 06:00 and 09:00 can check-in their luggage between 19:30 and 22:30 on the evening before their flight. They will then receive their boarding card, which will enable them to go directly, on the day of departure, to their boarding gate or passport control depending on their destination.

For check-in at one of our 26 check-in desks, the passengers must present the flight ticket and a valid piece of identification.

The passengers are asked to present themselves at the check-in at the latest before departure:
- 30 minutes for Business travellers
- 45 minutes for passengers in economy class
- 90 minutes for holiday flights

We ask all passengers to be at their boarding gate at the time indicated on their boarding pass.

Business check-in
There are separate check-in counters for Business and First Class ticket holders.

Electronic self check-in
Luxemburg airport offers automatic check-in counters, located in the departure hall, which allow the passengers to do their own check-in and receive their boarding-cards.

Early check-in
Passengers departing from Luxemburg in the morning between 06:00 and 09:00 can check-in their luggage between 19:30 and 22:30 on the evening before their flight.  Please note that the Previous Night Check-in is not possible anymore in Luxembourg airport for the CITYJET (Air France / VLM) and KLM flights.

Transit check-in
Transit passengers who were not checked-in until their final destination, are asked to announce their presence at the transit counter in the arrivals hall. The check-in process will be completed at this counter.

Check-in for pets
Pets are accepted only under special conditions. For more information on these limitations and restrictions, please consult your carrier before departure.

Hold Luggage
Unless you are notified to the contrary by your airline, people travelling in economy class are allowed 20 kg of luggage. Passengers travelling in Business class are allowed 30 kg. Certain types of luggage, such as bicycles, diving, ski and golf equipment are subject to restrictions and specific regulations. For further details, please contact your carrier before departure.

Hand Luggage
The hand luggage which you take with you into the cabin cannot exceed the following measurements 55*35*16 cm and have a total weight not exceeding 7 kg. The European Union has recently taken additional measures which reduce the quantity of liquids which you are permitted to carry in your hand and cabin luggage beyond the security controls. The airport's opening hours are 04:00 to 24:00 pm

Transit at the Airport
On arrival at the airport, please announce your presence at the transit counter in the arrivals hall. If you were not checked-in until your final destination, this process will be completed at this counter.
